18 and 85 years old
Duration
The duration of the study is up to 14 months which will include 7 scheduled visits to the clinic plus monthly telehealth check ins.
Compensation
Eligible participants will be compensated for reasonable expenses associated with study visits.
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify for this study if you:
- Are between 18 and 85 years old.
- Have been diagnosed with non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis.
- Have experienced an episode treated with antibiotics within the last year.
- Do not have COPD or asthma as your main health issue.
Other exclusion criteria will apply.

Non-Cystic Fibrosis Bronchiectasis (NCFB) is a chronic lung condition that affects the airways. It is a serious and often debilitating disease that makes it harder for people to breathe and fight off lung infections. Normal function of the lungs is disrupted, leading to a buildup of mucus that is difficult to clear. Over time, this cycle of infection and damage worsens, making the airways even more prone to problems.
This condition can impact a person’s ability to enjoy physical activity and socialising, and can result in frequent medical visits and courses of antibiotics.
What to expect
This study will focus on understanding how effective the investigational treatment is in delaying the time before a person experiences an exacerbation or worsening of symptoms after treatment, as well as the impact on quality of life.
