Flu Antigen Studies Brisbane TA
Taringa Brisbane
Are you a healthy adult interested in contributing to medical research?
Momentum Clinical Research is conducting a clinical research study evaluating the safety and immune response of investigational Avian Influenza (Bird Flu) and RSV vaccines to better understand how the body responds to different respiratory virus antigens.
By taking part, you may contribute to the development of vaccines that may help people in the future, receive regular health checks and monitoring and be supported by an experienced clinical research team.

Respiratory viruses continue to pose a significant challenge to global health. Avian influenza (bird flu) is an infectious disease of birds caused by type A strains like H5 and occurs worldwide. Respiratory Sycytial Virus (RSV) is another common respiratory virus that can cause serious illness in young children and older adults, Both viruses have the potential to cause severe disease in humans if it emerges more widely in a pandemic.
Vaccines work by helping the immune system recognise and respond to viruses before illness occurs. New vaccine technologies, including messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines, are being explored as part of this effort. mRNA vaccines provide the body with instructions to produce a harmless piece of a virus, allowing the immune system to learn how to respond without causing infection.
This clinical research study is evaluating the safety and immune response of investigational mRNA vaccines to better understand how the body responds to different respiratory virus antigens.
This is an early-phase study, and participants are not expected to receive a direct health benefit from taking part. However, the information collected may help researchers better understand how mRNA vaccines targeting different viruses behave in humans and may support the development of future vaccines.
Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the investigational mRNA vaccine with RSV or H5. Depending on the study group, you may receive one or two injections during scheduled clinic visits.
Throughout the study you will attend regular clinic visits for health assessments, which may include physical examinations, blood tests, and general health checks. These visits help the research team monitor your health and collect important study information.
Your safety and wellbeing will be closely monitored by our professional clinical team for the duration of the study
