Description

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a common sexually transmitted infection that nearly everyone contracts at some point in life. While it often goes unnoticed due to a lack of symptoms, certain high-risk types of HPV can lead to cancers if left untreated. That’s why regular cervical screenings and vaccinations are important. However, not all types of high-risk HPV are covered by vaccines, making it essential to continue research for better solutions. At Momentum Clinical Research, we’re focused on finding new ways to help those affected by HPV and provide hope for a healthier future.

What to expect

Currently, the best tools we have to fight HPV are vaccines and symptom management, but there is no approved treatment to directly target high-risk HPV infections. This means many people must wait and see if their bodies can naturally clear the infection. Momentum Clinical Research is working on potential new treatments to address this need, including exploring therapies that may prevent the development of more serious conditions. With ongoing research, there is hope for better treatment options that will offer peace of mind and improved outcomes for individuals living with HPV worldwide.
