To join this study, here’s what we’re looking for
- Have had moderate to severe lupus for at least 24 weeks prior to joining the study.
- Are currently taking a stable dose of lupus medication prior to joining the study.
- Can visit the Darlinghurst, Sydney Momentum clinic for appointments
Other inclusion criteria will apply.

Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects millions worldwide, causing the immune system to mistakenly attack healthy tissues. There are several types of lupus, with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus being the most severe.
Symptoms vary but often include fatigue, joint pain, skin rashes, and organ inflammation. While anyone can develop lupus, it primarily affects women, often striking in early adulthood. Living with lupus can be challenging, as flare-ups can disrupt daily life.
