Locations
Obesity and overweight are common, long-term health conditions in which the body carries excess weight that can place strain on organs, joints and everyday functioning. Many people experience symptoms such as low energy, breathlessness, disturbed sleep, or discomfort with movement.
These conditions are incredibly prevalent, affecting millions of adults worldwide and impacting physical health, emotional wellbeing, and confidence. They can also influence daily life, from social engagement and work to self-esteem and overall quality of life.
Obesity and overweight are typically managed through healthy eating, increased physical activity, behavioural support, and sometimes medication or surgery when appropriate. While these approaches can help, many people find long-term weight management challenging. This is why ongoing research is exploring new treatment options that may offer safer, more sustainable support.

Alongside the study medication, all participants will receive lifestyle guidance on healthy eating and physical activity.
You will visit the clinic regularly for health assessments, including weight measurements and vital signs, blood tests, questionaries about wellbeing and eating behaviour, and general check-ups. Your safety and well-being will be closely monitored by a professional clinical team.
