Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a common disorder affecting the digestive system. Around one in five Australians experience the unpleasant symptoms associated with IBS making it the most commonly diagnosed gastrointestinal condition. Some of the symptoms include abdominal pain, bloating, gas, diarrhoea, or constipation.
AusTrials and the Royal Melbourne Hospital are conducting a study evaluating the efficacy of a potential novel Gastrointestinal ReProgramming (GaRP) dietary supplement in reducing symptoms associated with IBS.
You could be eligible to participate in the study if you:
- Are aged between 18 and 65 AND
- Suffer from IBS and associated symptoms.
The study has a duration of approximately 12 weeks and involves 3 visits to the clinic.
Eligible participants will be compensated for time and travel-related costs.
The study is being conducted in the following locations.
- AusTrials Sunshine, VIC
- Royal Melbourne Hospital, VIC
- AusTrials Wellers Hill, QLD
- AusTrials St Leonards, NSW
