Shawnna brings a wealth of experience in clinical research to Momentum Clinical Research, coming from over 8 years of working at Novotech CRO. With a background that spans multiple departments—including Clinical Operations, Biometrics, and Medical Writing—Shawnna has developed a comprehensive understanding of the clinical trial landscape.

Over the past five years, Shawnna has excelled in Business Development, driving growth initiatives globally and across the ANZ region. This diverse experience encompasses all therapeutic areas and phases, enabling Shawnna to effectively engage with stakeholders and foster strategic partnerships.

Holding a PhD in Neuroscience and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, Shawnna combines academic expertise with practical business acumen. This unique skill set positions Shawnna to contribute significantly to Momentum’s mission of delivering innovative clinical solutions.

Outside of work Shawnna enjoys going for walks, being outdoors, DIY, reading science fiction and international travel particularly back to Canada where she is originally from.
