Dr Jessie Lee
Systemic Lupus Erythemtosus Research Study for Adults
The purpose of this research project is to assess the safety and efficacy of the investigational treatment when compared to a placebo for the treatment of signs and symptoms in adults with moderately to severely active lupus.
Investigational Treatment
The investigational treatment is approved in Australia to treat multiple other inflammatory conditions. However, it is not approved to treat lupus. This means that it must be tested to see if it is an effective treatment for lupus.

You will see thestudy doctor at each visit and then the research team for medical assessments. There is no cost for the medication or study visits, and you will be compensated for your time and travel.
